Kate and Calvin knew they wanted to get married at Lissanoure Castle from the moment they first viewed it. “The castle had lots of charm and needed very little decorating. The barn was perfect for our reception with lots of space and a giant fireplace and seats for guests to relax and play games in the evening. The grounds are just stunning especially with the lake, so many beautiful trees and even sheep. We loved walking around and having our photos taken in the spectacular scenery.”
The couple wanted a non-traditional and relaxed look to suit both their tastes. Therefore Calvin chose a brown tweed suit paired with an African bow-tie. Kate went for a detailed lace dress with a wild Protea bouquet and flower crown courtesy of Floral Earth. In the morning the boys went banana boating which looked so much fun and afterwards went for a traditional fry to warm themselves up. The girls enjoyed a more relaxing morning with the supremely talented Jennifer Ireland make up.
