Old Court Chapel Wedding – Sophie & Will
Romantic & Regal Wedding at Old Court Chapel
Sophie & Will’s wedding at Old Court Chapel, is a lesson in relaxed vibes, beautiful styling and doing thing’s your own way. The couple wanted to give their guests a laid-back party in Strangford, “We just wanted everything to be relaxed and fun. Because we asked so many people to travel, we wanted our guests to experience Northern Ireland in all its glory, food, craic, friendliness and drinks.”
Sophie got ready at her family home and Will got ready at the amazing Old Quarry Hill Church in Strangford. Once ready, the guys headed down to the local bar, The Lobster Pot for a few Guinness to settle the nerves, before the short walk to the venue.
The couple held their ceremony in the gorgeous 17th century Church, situated right on the private estate of Old Court Chapel. Afterwards they had a confetti lined walk down to the drinks reception in the beautiful gardens which sweep right down onto the shores overlooking the Lough.
Their reception was set in the yurt-inspired Marquee, with stunning hand painted table place names and delicate touches of wildflowers. Check out their showstopper of a wedding cake, complete with edible flowers.
The speeches were a complete joy to photograph. With so many funny and heart warming stories told by family and friends about the couple, the reactions were amazing. Sophie & Will kept the party atmosphere going after dinner, dancing and singing the night away with a Mariachi Band.
Enjoy this one!……
