A musical Summer wedding at Cloughjordan House with the perfect duet.

Cloughjordan House in Tipperary hosted the beautiful and vibrant wedding in June of Eimear and Larry. Eimear who is an extremely talented wedding singer herself, infused her passion for music throughout the entire ceremony. Evidently creating a wonderful celebration that was all about music, love, and the warm spirit of family and friends.

Cloughjordan House, is an 800 year old French style manor house. Set in the lush countryside of North Tipperary. It offers a blend of homely warmth and a deeply rooted sense of country hospitality. I believe it is an exceptional wedding venue, which specialises in fantastic food in beautiful surroundings.

While the couple had envisioned an outdoor ceremony in the rustic forest surrounded by lush greenery, the infamous Irish weather had other plans. Instead, they embraced the cozy ambiance of Cloughjordan’s Wood Shed. Above all this intimate space, with warm wood and rich rugs, became a haven from the elements and a beautiful, rustic backdrop for the ceremony.

Especially as a seasoned wedding singer, the bride knew exactly how to make music the heartbeat of the day. The ceremony began with friends playing one of Eimer’s favourite songs, and as she walked up the aisle accompanied by her Mum, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

Clearly in keeping with the season, the couple chose vibrant summer blooms in a rainbow of colors. Lush bouquets of wildflowers, roses, and eucalyptus were placed throughout the Wood Shed, bringing a fresh, summery vibe to the rustic space. Undoubtedly the bright colors of the flowers stood out against the soft, neutral tones of the bridesmaid dresses, which were simple yet elegant in shades of taupe..

Following on from the ceremony, guests gathered in Cloughjordan’s ballroom where they sipped on champagne and listened to the funny stories and heartfelt speeches.

Without a doubt, this wedding was a true reflection of the couple’s love for each other and for music. It was a celebration filled with personal touches, from the carefully chosen songs to the vibrant flowers that adorned every corner.
